There will also be a hearing on three different appeals against the decision of the Lahore High Court declaring the constitution of the special court unconstitutional. Former President Pervez Musharraf died on February 5 this year in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>Pervez Musharraf was sentenced to death in his absence by a special court in December 2019 in the high treason case, but later the Lahore High Court declared the creation of the special court unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Bar Council, Sindh Bar Council and Advocate Tawfiq Asif have filed appeals against this decision of Lahore High Court. A separate application filed by a lawyer to include Pervez Musharraf&#8217;s name in the ECL has also been scheduled for hearing.
