Khan told the court that his wife was being humiliated by being forced into a lawsuit that she had nothing to do with.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Bashir questioned Khan on whether he had taped his statement at the beginning of today&#8217;s hearing. In response, the former prime minister stated he would provide his testimony as soon as his attorneys arrived. The PTI founder declared, &#8220;I have been duped, as I was only called to mark my attendance for the hearing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Islamabad High Court (IHC), on the other hand, deemed accurate the notification of Khan&#8217;s jail trial in Toshakhana and the \u00a3190 million settlement cases. The PTI founder&#8217;s appeals against the jail trial in the cases brought by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were also denied by the court.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner&#8217;s life was allegedly threatened, leading to the jail trial, albeit it was clarified that there was no &#8220;malice&#8221; involved.
