{"id":2558,"date":"2021-09-22T12:48:44","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T12:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=2558"},"modified":"2021-09-22T12:51:21","modified_gmt":"2021-09-22T12:51:21","slug":"pakistan-receives-10-million-more-covid-19-vaccine-doses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/pakistan-receives-10-million-more-covid-19-vaccine-doses\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan receives 10 million more COVID-19 vaccine doses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has received two new consignments of 10 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, on Wednesday, citing officials of the health ministry.<br \/>\nThe vaccine shipments include three million Sinovac and seven million Sinopharm vaccine doses, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).<br \/>\nThey have been purchased by the Pakistan government, the health ministry officials said, adding that the vaccines were imported by the NDMA and handed over to the Ministry of Health.<br \/>\nThe vaccines will be supplied to the provinces as per their need, officials of the Ministry of Health said.<br \/>\n\u201cAll COVID-19 vaccines, including Sinopharm and Sinovac, are now available for the second dose,\u201d the health ministry wrote on Twitter Wednesday.<br \/>\nPakistan has administered at least 74,837,117 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that\u2019s enough to have vaccinated about 17.3% of the country\u2019s population.<br \/>\nDuring the last week reported, Pakistan averaged about 784,687 doses administered each day.
