ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has officially challenged the results of the National Assembly constituency NA-15 Mansehra election.<\/p>\n

In the unofficial count, independent candidate Shehzad Muhammad Gashtasab Khan prevailed with 105,249 votes, while Nawaz Sharif received 80,382 votes.<\/p>\n

Sharif expressed concerns in his application to the Election Commission over the logistical difficulties that certain Mansehra localities were facing as a result of the heavy snowfall, which disrupted communication during the voting process. He maintained that the integrity of the election and voter turnout might have been impacted by these issues.<\/p>\n

Sharif consequently asked that the results of NA-15 Mansehra be deferred until after a careful examination and resolving of the concerns brought forward.
