During the Syrian civil war, his businesses were destroyed, and he was forced to leave his home country.<br \/>\nAs a UK refugee, he feared his ultimate dream to open a restaurant in central London was out of reach with the high cost of rent. Against all odds, Imad&#8217;s Syrian Kitchen opened its doors in May 2021.
