{"id":28779,"date":"2024-03-11T14:34:25","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T09:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=28779"},"modified":"2024-03-11T14:34:25","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T09:34:25","slug":"pcb-fines-naseem-shah-over-kicking-stumps-during-sunday-match","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/latest-news\/pcb-fines-naseem-shah-over-kicking-stumps-during-sunday-match\/","title":{"rendered":"PCB fines Naseem Shah over kicking stumps during Sunday match"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad United&#8217;s Naseem Shah has been fined 10% of his match fee for violating the Pakistan Super League&#8217;s (PSL) level 1 code of conduct during a match against Multan Sultans at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that pacer Naseem Shah was charged for violating Article 2.2 <span lang=\"EN-GB\">which deals with &#8220;abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings&#8221;<em>.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Naseem Shah was fined after he kicked the stumps at the end of the Multan Sultans&#8217; innings.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/psl-9-islamabad-united-defeats-karachi-kings-by-7-wickets.html\">PSL-9: Islamabad United Defeats Karachi Kings by 7 Wickets<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\">Furthermore, the statement reads, &#8220;Since Naseem pleaded guilty to the charge and accepted the sanctions proposed by match referee Roshan Mahanama, there was no need for a formal hearing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\">The charge was imposed by on-field umpires Ruchira Palliyaguruge and Muhammad Asif, it added.<\/p>\n<h2>Multan Sultans fined for Slow over-rate<\/h2>\n<p>According to PCB, Multan Sultans were also fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in the same match between Islamabad and Multan on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\">Sultans were ruled to be one over short of their target by match referee Roshan Mahanama, who took into consideration time allowances before arriving at the decision, the statement maintained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNoSpacing\">As such, and by Article 2.22 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, each player was fined 10 percent of his match fee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad United&#8217;s Naseem Shah has been fined 10% of his match fee for violating the Pakistan Super League&#8217;s (PSL) level 1 code of conduct during a match against Multan Sultans at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
