{"id":28797,"date":"2024-03-11T16:13:16","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T11:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=28797"},"modified":"2024-03-11T16:13:32","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T11:13:32","slug":"19-member-federal-cabinet-takes-oath","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/latest-news\/19-member-federal-cabinet-takes-oath\/","title":{"rendered":"19-member federal cabinet takes oath"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 19-member new federal cabinet took oath in a ceremony held today at Aiqan-e-Sdr in Islamabad on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>President Asif Ali Zardari administrated the oath of the newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif&#8217;s cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, President Zardari approved the 19 names for the role of federal ministers under clause 1 of Article 92 of the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The members took oath today includes PML-N lawmakers Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif, Ishaq Dar, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Rana Tanveer, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Jam Kamal Khan, Amir Muqam, Awais Leghari and Attaullah Tarar, while MQM-P\u2019s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party\u2019s Abdul Aleem Khan also sworn-in as federal ministers.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pms-cabinet-cabinet-to-take-oath-today.htm\">PM&#8217;s cabinet to take oath today<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Senators Ishaq Dar and Musadik Malik also took oaths as federal ministers under clause 9 of Article 91 of the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1URuBuSmlwKuuXxWxpkHqt2JH5P1CnhzS\/preview\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThree more names that have been recommended to be inducted as federal ministers include Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Cheema, and Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.<\/p>\n<p>Military and political leadership including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the oath-taking ceremony.
