As per media reports, SSGC has applied to OGRA for a retrospective increase of Rs274.40 per MMBTU, effective from July 1, 2024. The company aims to set a new average gas price at Rs1740.80, up from the current average of Rs1696.39 per MMBTU.<\/p>\n<p>The application emphasizes SSGC&#8217;s revenue shortfall, totaling Rs79.63 billion. Of this amount, a shortfall of Rs56.69 billion is attributed to local gas, with the remaining Rs22.935 billion attributed to RLNG.<\/p>\n<p>A revenue shortfall occurs when actual or projected earnings fall short of anticipated targets.
