{"id":2992,"date":"2021-10-04T11:27:15","date_gmt":"2021-10-04T11:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=2992"},"modified":"2021-10-04T11:27:15","modified_gmt":"2021-10-04T11:27:15","slug":"govts-legal-team-to-hold-meeting-on-pandora-papers-fawad-chaudhry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govts-legal-team-to-hold-meeting-on-pandora-papers-fawad-chaudhry\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt&#8217;s legal team to hold meeting on Pandora Papers: Fawad Chaudhry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government&#8217;s legal team will hold an important meeting to review the names mentioned in the Pandora Papers leaks, said Information Fawad Chaudhry Monday.<br \/>\n&#8220;A new Pandora&#8217;s box has been opened by the Pandora leaks,&#8221; noted the minister.<br \/>\nA private news channel reported that the DG FIA has mobilised the cyber crime wing of the agency, adding that the Investigation Bureau and other investigative institutions are also actively monitoring the developments.<br \/>\nChaudhry was referring to the high profile investigation undertaken by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) that laid bare the financial secrets of the rich and powerful.<br \/>\nThe Pandora Papers featured the names of over 700 Pakistanis and celebrities, former and current rulers as well as sports personalities around the globe.<br \/>\nThe Pandora Papers have unmasked the fortunes of more than 330 public officials in 90 countries. Included among them are 35 current and former leaders of different countries.
