ISLAMABAD: It is anticipated that starting on April 1, 2024, the price of Petrol will increase while the price of diesel would decrease.<\/p>\n
According to a recent report published in a national daily, the main cause of the upcoming increase in petrol prices is a significant decrease in production by Mogas, an American petroleum company.<\/p>\n
Due to the American government’s decision to increase motor spirit imports in response to the output decline, prices have increased globally.<\/p>\n
However, there has been a decline in the worldwide market demand for high-speed diesel in tandem with an excess of supply. It is anticipated that this comparison will cause the price of fuel to drop by about Rs 1.30.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, government representatives and business insiders have predicted that between April 1 and April 15, gas prices could rise from the current Rs 279.75 to Rs 289.69.<\/p>\n
Forecasts indicate that high-speed diesel will cost slightly less\u2014that is, Rs 284.26 instead of Rs 285.49. Furthermore, there is expected to be a slight increase in the price of light diesel by 0.45 paisa, making it Rs 168.63.<\/p>\n
