LAHORE: The price of poultry chicken increased in Punjab during the holy month of Ramadan, while the government failed to crack down on the nasty profiters.<\/p>\n

The escalating prices have put a huge pressure on consumers\u2019 purchasing power, with the cost of poultry meat reaching Rs 650 to 660 per kg in local market. This surge marks a 30% increase in poultry prices over the past month, exacerbating market volatility.<\/p>\n

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued instructions to the administration to monitor all market rates across the province.<\/p>\n

While chicken prices increase day by day in Punjab ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.<\/p>\n
