French Nicolas Anelka, Togo&#8217;s former captain Emmanuel Adebayor also accepted Islam.<\/p>\n<p>The Turkish news agency quoted Spanish media outlet Marca as saying that 32-year-old Pelletrio converted to Islam after learning about Islam from his friend of 11 years, ex-Kuwaiti footballer Faisal Boresli.
