ISLAMABAD: With just one day left for Eid-ul-Fitr, it is customary every year, the majority of the locals have departed for their hometowns to celebrate the Eid holiday with their families and relatives, leaving the capital city empty.<\/p>\n

Many of the people from remote parts of the country who are working in the capital rush back to their hometowns to spend the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays with their families. To spend as much time as possible with their families, most natives took advantage of the official holidays, which were set for April 10 (Wednesday) to April 12 (Friday). They took two days off on April 08 (Monday) and April 09 (Tuesday).<\/p>\n

She said that Eid is the only occasion when I visit my family living in my native town as it is not convenient to afford travel expenses frequently when the fuel prices and public transport fares have been increased.<\/p>\n

Shaista Hameed, a working woman while talking with APP said, \u201cMy children were very enthusiastic to spend at least 10-day vacation with their grandparents in our native town so me and my husband took official leave of two days to combine it with the Eid holidays\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSummer vacation of our children is the best time to spend more time in our native towns otherwise it is not possible to get such a long break from their study routine\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

The hustle and bustle of the capital city fade away during the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr every year as most of the natives prefer to celebrate the festivity with their families in their hometown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
