The Muslim World League (MWL) secretary-general, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, visited an orphanage in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Thursday. He celebrated Eid Al-Fitr with the orphan kids.<\/p>\n

On a nine-day journey to promote religious unity and fortify Saudi Arabia’s bilateral ties with Pakistan, Dr. Al-Issa arrived in Islamabad late on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The MWL is a non-governmental organization with its headquarters in Makkah that speaks for Muslims worldwide.<\/p>\n

The Muslim World League posted on Facebook that “His Excellency Sheikh Dr. #MohammedAlissa, Secretary-General of the MWL, visited the Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage, affiliated with the #MuslimWorldLeague in Pakistan.”<\/p>\n

“He opened new facilities, including a training center and a gymnasium, and celebrated Eid with the orphans.”<\/p>\n

The visit took place the day after Dr. Al-Issa gave the sermon at the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad on Eid Al-Fitr.<\/p>\n

Al-Issa urged Muslims to remember the Palestinian people in their prayers and in their hearts during the speech.<\/p>\n

While we celebrate this happy occasion, we never forget the tragedy that befell our brethren in Gaza as a result of the aggressiveness and haughtiness. He prayed that the Almighty would provide them a positive outcome in their trials and that the crimes they had done would turn the tables on their perpetrators.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he discussed how Muslims should utilize their deeds to portray Islam in its most accurate light.<\/p>\n

Dr. Al-Issa will meet at top levels with Pakistan’s president, prime minister, and minister of religious affairs during his nine-day tour.<\/p>\n

The government spokesperson said that on April 15, the MWL secretary-general would sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Pakistani government to establish a state-of-the-art Seerat-un-Nabi Museum in the federal capital. The MWL secretary-general would also conduct the groundbreaking ceremony for the museum.<\/p>\n

The museum will be the first of its kind in Pakistan dedicated to exhibiting relics related to the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s (PBUH) life.<\/p>\n
