KARACHI: Pakistani prominent actor Faysal Quraishi tendered his apology to the Karachi Bar Association over inappropriate language against legal fraternity in a drama series \u2018Zulm\u2019.<\/p>\n
According to the details, the Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has levelled serious accusations against actor Faysal Quraishi and media channel HUM TV.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Bar Association issued official condemnation in which they expressed their displeasure with the alleged misrepresentation of lawyers in the show, particularly taking aim at Faysal Quraishi for his purported use of inappropriate language.<\/p>\n
Signed by KBA General Secretary Ikhtiar Ali Channa and Chairman Human Rights Committee Zahid Hussain Soomro, the statement leaves no room for ambiguity, demanding an unreserved apology from all parties involved.<\/p>\n
According to the KBA, the depiction of legal professionals in \u2018Zulm\u2019 has not only been deemed contemptuous but has also inflicted irreparable damage to the reputation of the legal fraternity.<\/p>\n
The KBA has made it abundantly clear that legal action looms large on the horizon should their demands remain unmet.<\/p>\n
However, in the eye of the storm, actor Faysal Quraishi took to social media, to address the brewing controversy, extending his gratitude to Kaiser Khan Nizamani, a lawyer of the Karachi High Court and Karachi Bar Court, for reaching out to him.<\/p>\n
In a video message, Quraishi shed light on the tumultuous events that unfolded following the issuance of the Bar Association\u2019s notification. \u201cMy fans and friends were worried all morning.<\/p>\n
