Arijit Singh\u00a0was singing the famous Raees song Zaalima during a concert in Dubai. However, the singer was unaware of the fact that\u00a0Mahira Khan, the actor the song was based on, was seated just in front of them at the same event.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, the singer apologized and gave her a shoutout after failing to recognize her.<\/p>\n

In the video that has gone viral\u00a0Arijit Singh\u00a0can be seen saying about Mahira Khan<\/p>\n

“You guys must be surprised, should I reveal? I should reveal it in a very nice way. Can we have the camera there? I was trying to recognise this person, then remembered I had sung for her. Ladies and gentlemen Mahira Khan is sitting right in front of me. Think about I was singing her song Zaalima and it\u2019s her song and she was singing and standing and I couldn\u2019t recognize her. I am so sorry. Ma’am gratitude and thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

To this, Mahira smiled and waved to the audience.<\/p>\n
