President Zardari also appointed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Faisal Karim Kundi as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Jaffar Khan Mandokhail as the Governor of Balochistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the notification, t<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">he approval of the governor\u2019s appointments has been granted in accordance with Article 101(1) of the Constitution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/power-sharing-formula-ppp-finalizes-names-for-kp-punjab-governors\/\">Power-sharing formula: PPP finalizes names for KP &amp; Punjab governors<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, the Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PP) finalized Faisal Karim Kundi and Sardar Salim Haider for governors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Sources familiar with the development claimed that Bilawal Bhutto approved Sardar Salim Haider&#8217;s name for governor of Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to mention that Sardar Salim Haider was elected MNA from Attock in 2008 on the PPP ticket and served as Foreign Minister during the PPP tenure.
