{"id":3570,"date":"2021-10-28T10:59:37","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T10:59:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=3570"},"modified":"2021-10-28T10:59:37","modified_gmt":"2021-10-28T10:59:37","slug":"nab-court-defers-asif-zardaris-indictment-in-suspicious-transactions-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nab-court-defers-asif-zardaris-indictment-in-suspicious-transactions-case\/","title":{"rendered":"NAB court defers Asif Zardari&#8217;s indictment in suspicious transactions case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Accountability court on Thursday has deferred the indictment of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in suspicious transaction case on the orders of Islamabad High Court (IHC).<br \/>\nThe National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has adjourned the hearing till November 18.<br \/>\nEarlier, acocuntability court had rejected the appeal filed by Asif Ali Zardari seeking acquittal in suspicious transactions case on the basis of NAB Amendment Ordinance 2021.<br \/>\nZardari\u2019s lawyer Farooq H. Naik stated that indictment of his client cannot be carried out after NAB ordinance.
