More students <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are expected<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to arrive\u00a0<\/span>with more flights scheduled for <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Sunday (today). &#8220;The government<span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\"> is planning to send a plane from Islamabad to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and back to Islamabad this evening,&#8221; the federal govt said in a statement.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A special flight KA-571 carrying more than 180 passengers along with Pakistani students from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, has landed at Lahore Airport.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Special flight KA571 has landed at Lahore Airport safely bringing back the first batch of 180 Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n<p>Federal Minister for Interior <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MohsinnaqviC42?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MohsinnaqviC42<\/a> was present to receive the students at the airport. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TfOiVQeow7\">pic.twitter.com\/TfOiVQeow7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 PTV News (@PTVNewsOfficial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PTVNewsOfficial\/status\/1791905989744054747?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 18, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Pakistani students lamented the embassy\u2019s response to their issues and demanded that their remaining friends in the country should also be brought back.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/riots-among-students-in-kyrgyzstan-pakistanis-also-killed\/\">No casualties among Pakistani students in Bishkek mob violence, confirms Kyrgyz government<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, the Interior Minister said that transport facilities would be provided to students belonging to other cities. &#8220;Safe repatriation of Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan is our priority.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pakistan on Sat\u00adurday summoned and issued a demarche to the Charge d\u2019affaires of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Melis Moldaliev over mob violence in Bishkek which injured Pakistani students. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Foreign Office demanded \u201call possible measures\u201d to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani students and citizens residing in the Kyrgyz Republic<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>On the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, <span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs Amir Maqam are scheduled to visit Kyrgyzstan today.
