The project will <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">start<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0in October as soon as the purchasing is complete, with solar panels, charge controllers, and batteries included in the system package.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Punjab government to provide free solar systems<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On the other hand, the Punjab government has unveiled plans to provide free solar systems to 50,000 households in the province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Under the scheme, households consuming up to 100 units of electricity per month will be eligible for the free solar systems. The government will cover all expenses, including the cost of the solar systems and their installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\" class=\"left relative\">\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\" class=\"left relative\">\n<p>The Punjab government will bear 100 percent cost of the solar system and installation. The project will cost 10 billion rupees.
