{"id":37774,"date":"2024-05-28T18:47:21","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T13:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=37774"},"modified":"2024-05-28T18:47:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T13:47:21","slug":"islamabad-weather-forecast-met-office-predicts-rain-in-twin-cities-other-part-of-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad-weather-forecast-met-office-predicts-rain-in-twin-cities-other-part-of-country\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamabad weather forecast; Met office predicts rain in twin cities &#038; other part of country"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rains with thunderstorms in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the country on Tuesday evening\/night, Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As per the details, PMD forecast a shallow westerly wave will likely affect the upper parts of Pakistan from today\u2019s evening and night.<\/p>\n<p>Under these conditions, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected in the twin cities and at isolated places in the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Kashmir on Tuesday evening\/night and the following two days.<\/p>\n<p>Intermittent rains and gusty\/dust-raising winds will likely help decrease the intensity of the prevailing heatwave this week.<\/p>\n<p>Capital City Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 40-42\u00b0C on Wednesday and 39-41\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 39-41\u00b0C on Wednesday and 38-40\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the heat wave continued in the plains of the country during the last 24 hours. Maximum temperature in Dadu and Jacobabad was recorded at 51\u00b0C, Khairpur, Larkana, Rohri, Sibbi, Bhakkar, Rahim Yar Khan, Sakrand and Sukkur at 50\u00b0C and Khanpur, Kot Addu, Padidan, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan at 49\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 33 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41\u00b0C.
