QUETTA: At least 28 people, including women and children, were killed on Wednesday when a bus toppled over and plunged into a ravine in Balochistan’s Washuk district.<\/p>\n

When a passenger bus from Turbat to Quetta went off the road, an accident happened. According to rescue officials, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a burst tire, which resulted in the collision.<\/p>\n

The accident also resulted in numerous injuries to passengers. Rescue crews arrived quickly and took the victims to Basima Civil Hospital.<\/p>\n

Critically injured patients are being sent to Quetta so they can receive additional care.<\/p>\n

More than 20 people were hurt in the accident, according to officials, several of them are in serious condition. This raises concerns that the number of fatalities may increase.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed profound sorrow over the incident.<\/p>\n

According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the premier offered prayers for the victims and extended his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families.<\/p>\n

“We stand with the mourning families in this difficult time and express our heartfelt sympathy,” the premier said.<\/p>\n
