The government will cover all expenses, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/solar-panel-prices-fall-in-pakistan-check-latest-price-update\/\">cost of the solar systems<\/a> and their installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\" class=\"left relative\">\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\" class=\"left relative\">\n<p>The Punjab government will bear 100 percent cost of the solar system and installation. The project will cost 10 billion rupees. The households benefiting from electricity theft, meter tampering records, or any other scheme will not be eligible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-govt-solar-system-installation-for-50-000-homes-check-all-details-here\/\">Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Solar Panel Scheme<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The government will provide free solar systems to households consuming up to 100 units of electricity per month. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Those who have been involved in electricity theft, meter tampering, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> other illegal activities will not be eligible for the scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Must be a Pakistani citizen.<\/p>\n<p>Must have a valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).<\/p>\n<p>Must own the property or have authorization from the property proprietor for solar panel installation.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The data of families consuming up to 100 units per month will be sent to the National Telecommunication.
