{"id":38835,"date":"2024-06-07T11:07:10","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T06:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=38835"},"modified":"2024-06-07T11:07:10","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T06:07:10","slug":"pm-laptop-scheme-2024-govt-announces-laptops-for-all-scheme-for-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-laptop-scheme-2024-govt-announces-laptops-for-all-scheme-for-students\/","title":{"rendered":"PM Laptop Scheme 2024: Govt announces &#8220;Laptops for All&#8221; scheme for students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Thursday announced to introduce \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-govt-grants-rs10-billion-for-cm-punjab-laptop-scheme\/\">Laptop for All\u201d<\/a> scheme next year for the students of Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman of Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashhood, in a press conference, announced the \u201cLaptop for All\u201d scheme under which the students will be able to get laptops from interest-free banks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government was making efforts to provide free-of-interest laptops to students from banks on which decision would be taken within two or three days,\u201d the PMYP chairman said.<\/p>\n<p>The PMYP chairman indicated that the interim government was having numerous financial issues, and IMF constraints were also in place; nonetheless, the &#8220;Laptops for All&#8221; program would be included in the next fiscal budget.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, there was an interim government, and when the current government took office, the time to obtain a budget was very short, therefore laptops were not provided to students, he explained.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Thursday announced to introduce \u201cLaptop for All\u201d scheme next year for the students of Pakistan.
