NEW YORK: After India clinched an astonishing win<\/a> against Pakistan by six runs at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York <\/span>on Sunday, Men in Blue reached the top of Group A in the points table.<\/p>\n

Rohit Sharma-led Indian team restricted Pakistan to 113-7 while defending a 120-run target with Jasprit Bumrah leading the bowling attack. <\/span>India now <\/span>has<\/span> two wins while the USA<\/a> <\/span>is<\/span> second in the group with the <\/span>same<\/span> number of victories.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chasing a target of 120, Pakistan was solidly put at 73 for 3 in 12.1 overs, needing run-a-ball 47, but Bumrah turned the game on its head with some sensational bowling. He finished with figures of 3 for 14 in four overs.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the innings, Pakistan after winning the toss invited India to bat first and controlled them on 119. Naseem Shah<\/a>\u00a0and Haris Rauf were the pick of bowlers for Pakistan with three wickets each while Mohammad Amir picked two wickets.<\/p>\n

Rishabh Pant scored 42 runs while other Indian batters failed to play noticeable knocks.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in another match on Sunday, Scotland defeated Oman by seven wic<\/span>kets at <\/span>Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda to go on top of Group C.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
