{"id":39445,"date":"2024-06-12T16:11:03","date_gmt":"2024-06-12T11:11:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=39445"},"modified":"2024-06-12T16:11:03","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T11:11:03","slug":"sindh-govt-likely-to-present-budget-2024-25-on-june-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/sindh-govt-likely-to-present-budget-2024-25-on-june-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Sindh govt likely to present budget 2024-25 on June 14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The Sindh government is likely to present the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/punjab-govt-employees-salaries-to-increase-in-upcoming-budget-details-inside\/\">province&#8217;s annual budget<\/a> for the fiscal year 2024-25 on June 14 (Friday).<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who is also holding the portfolio of finance, will present the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/federal-budget-2024-25-to-be-presented-today-with-rs18-trillion-outlay\/\">budget<\/a> in the Sindh Assembly at 3 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to a letter issued by the provincial finance department on Tuesday, the Sindh cabinet will meet at the Chief Minister House to approve the FY 2024-25 budget, and then it will land on the assembly floor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the sources, in the upcoming provincial budget, at least a 10% to 15% increase in the salary of Sindh&#8217;s government employees will be proposed.<\/p>\n<p>They added that no money will be allocated for new development schemes in Sindh&#8217;s budget and that funds for development projects will be released for ongoing projects.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the federal government will present the upcoming budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 today. <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb will unveil the budget on the National Assembly floor.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The Sindh government is likely to present the province&#8217;s annual budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 on June 14 (Friday).
