{"id":40643,"date":"2024-06-25T22:40:12","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T17:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=40643"},"modified":"2024-06-25T22:44:55","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T17:44:55","slug":"ayesha-raza-appointed-as-pms-focal-person-for-anti-polio-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ayesha-raza-appointed-as-pms-focal-person-for-anti-polio-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Ayesha Raza appointed as PM\u2019s focal person for anti-polio campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Tuesday appointed Senator Ayesha Raza Farooq of the Muslim League (N) as the focal person of Prime Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-shehbaz-sharif-orders-closure-of-pakistan-pwd\/\">Shehbaz Sharif<\/a> for anti-polio campaign, here on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Ayesha Raza Farooq has been appointed as the focal person of anti-polio campaign, her appointment will be honorary.<\/p>\n<p>The focal person will inform the Prime Minister about the government&#8217;s anti-polio measures while Ayesha Raza Farooq will also preside over the meetings of the National Polio Steering Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Reports state that the focal person will oversee the anti-polio campaign in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/technology\/pakistan-signs-agreement-to-assemble-google-chromebooks-locally\/\">Pakistan<\/a> and head the task force formed for it.
