ISLAMABAD: After the approval of the Federal Budget 2024-25<\/a> from the National and Provincial Assemblies, the salaries of all government employees will increase as mentioned in the budget proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The federal government has approved a 25 percent increase in the salaries of public sector employees<\/a> along with the Punjab and Sindh governments.<\/p>\n

As per the budget’s proposals<\/a> regarding salary hikes, govt employees from grades 1-16 will get a 25% increase in their monthly pay from July 2024.<\/p>\n

In addition, the salaries of govt employees<\/a> from grades 17-22 will be raised by 20%. Furthermore, the federal and provincial governments have approved a 15% increase in pensions for retired government employees<\/p>\n

This move is seen as a significant step by the government to address the concerns of its employees and pensioners, particularly in the wake of the rising cost of living in the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Increase in salaries of govt employees from July 2024<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

In the upcoming budget 2024-25, the governments have approved the increment in government employees’ salaries by 20% to 25%.<\/span><\/p>\n
