LAHORE:\u00a0After the approval of the\u00a0budget proposal<\/a> from the Punjab Assembly by a majority vote, the provincial government announced a new tax measure on vehicle registration which increased the excise registration fee<\/a>\u00a0for cars and motorcycles including Honda CD 70<\/a>, Honda CG 125<\/a>, and Pridor.<\/p>\n

The Punjab government has announced the imposition of a heavy traffic challan<\/a> for those who ride a non-registered motorcycle or any other vehicle.\u00a0The applicant is required to pay a certain fee to get the motorbike registered with the department.<\/p>\n

The Honda CG 125<\/a> dominates the streets of Pakistan, serving as the most economical Japanese two-wheeler option for daily commuters due to its reliable engine performance, durable build, and fuel efficiency.<\/p>\n

Despite the passage of decades, Atlas Honda has maintained the iconic frame and engine of the Honda CG 125, with minor updates such as new tank designs and side stickers introduced annually.<\/p>\n

Apart from motorbikes, Honda also continues to lead other automakers because of its solid reputation for building dependable and safe vehicles including\u00a0Honda City<\/a>,\u00a0Honda Civic,<\/a>\u00a0and BR-V.<\/p>\n

New Excise Registration Fee for Honda CG 125 in Punjab<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

The registration fee for motorcycles and scooters has been set at Rs 1500, with an additional 10% annual fee for registration transfer within 10 years. <\/span>The new registration fee will come into effect from July 1, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

For cars under 1000cc, the excise would begin collecting a Rs20,000 registration cost in addition to a 10% yearly transfer fee.<\/p>\n
