{"id":41235,"date":"2024-07-01T18:06:25","date_gmt":"2024-07-01T13:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=41235"},"modified":"2024-07-01T18:06:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T13:06:25","slug":"pakistan-to-issue-panda-bonds-in-chinas-capital-market-details-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/pakistan-to-issue-panda-bonds-in-chinas-capital-market-details-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan to issue &#8216;Panda bonds&#8217; in China&#8217;s capital market; Details inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to issue \u2018panda bonds\u2019 in China&#8217;s capital market with a capital size likely up to $30 million, here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>As per the details, the relevant rating and law firms will be selected through a bidding process.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/finance-ministry-prepares-to-deliver-2024-25-budget\/\">Finance Ministry<\/a> sources, China&#8217;s credit rating agency will be hired for the bond transaction and Expression of Interest (EoI) has been invited from China&#8217;s credit rating agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The respective rating agencies have been directed to provide technical and financial proposals by July 29, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A law firm from the People&#8217;s Republic of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/pm-shehbaz-okays-pakistan-china-jv-project-for-chinese-industry-relocation\/\">China<\/a> will also be hired for the bond.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are also invited from local legal counsel for the transaction by July 15.<\/p>\n<p>Relevant rating and law firms will be selected through a bidding process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to issue \u2018panda bonds\u2019 in China&#8217;s capital market with a capital size likely up to $30 million, here on Monday.
