{"id":41577,"date":"2024-07-05T17:15:03","date_gmt":"2024-07-05T12:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=41577"},"modified":"2024-07-05T17:15:28","modified_gmt":"2024-07-05T12:15:28","slug":"farrukh-h-khan-resigns-as-ceo-pakistan-stock-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/farrukh-h-khan-resigns-as-ceo-pakistan-stock-exchange\/","title":{"rendered":"Farrukh H Khan resigns as CEO Pakistan Stock Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: On Friday, Farrukh H Khan resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/muhammad-aurangzeb-gets-pakistani-citizenship-after-cabinet-approval\/\">Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited<\/a> (PSX) to pursue other opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>According to the notice issued to the bourse, &#8221; Mr Farrukh H Khan has tendered his resignation from the position of Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited in order to pursue other opportunities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Board has called an emergent meeting today, Friday, July 05, 2024, to consider his resignation. Any subsequent announcement will be made accordingly,&#8221; the notice added.<\/p>\n<p>Later, PSX accepted the resignation of Farrukh Khan in the emergent meeting held to consider his resignation. \u201cwith the utmost respect for Khan\u2019s decision to pursue other opportunities, accepted his resignation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe board appreciated Khan\u2019s dedication and commitment to PSX and will work with him in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition to be concluded by September 2, 2024,\u201d PSX said in its statement.<\/p>\n<p>Farrukh Khan has served as CEO PSX since February 2020 along with the President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industry (OICCI), Chairman of the Young Presidents\u2019 Organization, Pakistan Chapter, and on the boards of prominent public and private sector organizations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: On Friday, Farrukh H Khan resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) to pursue other opportunities.
