RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee<\/span> (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza<\/span><\/a> on an official visit to <\/span>Russia<\/span>, held meetings with Russian military leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both,\u00a0Pakistan and Russia<\/a> have expressed a desire to strengthen bilateral military-to-military relationships, ISPR said in a statement.<\/p>\n

CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad met with a Russian military delegation comprising,\u00a0 <\/span>Colonel General Alexander Fomin, Deputy Defence Minister, Aleksandr Venediktov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, and Colonel General S. Y. Istrakov, Deputy Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.<\/span><\/p>\n
