Those coming from Liaquatabad via Lisbela Chowk will be diverted <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">toward Central Jail from<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Teen Hatti. Vehicles<\/span>\u00a0going to PP Chowrangi from Hasan Square should take Kashmir Road to Society Light Signal (Quaidin Highway) and Jail Flyover.<\/p>\n<p>Commuters heading from <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Shahrah-e-Faisal towards Shahrah-e-Quaideen and\u00a0 Numaish can take the<\/span> society light signal at the Kashmir Road. People traveling from Central Jail Gate (Jamshed Road) <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">to MA Jinnah Road can reach their destination from <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Gurumandir<\/span> to <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For District South, people going to MA Jinnah Road from Garden Zoo will take Gul Plaza on the right and <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Coast Guard<\/span> on the left from <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Anklesaria Hospital, and then the Holy Family Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Route for Heavy Traffic<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heavy traffic coming from Super Highway, Gulberg, and going towards MA Jinnah Road would be diverted at Liaquatabad No 10 towards Nazimabad Chowrangi No 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heavy traffic can go through Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, from Shahrah-e-Faisal to Mauripur. The same route would also be used to return the traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Traffic coming from the National Highway would be allowed to enter the port city through Shahrah-e-Faisal, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Sulaiman Road, Hassan Square, Liaquatabad No 10, Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, and Shahrah-e-Faisal to Mauripur. The same route would also be used to return the traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Entry points for Attendees of Muharram procession<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Attendants from Nazimabad can join the procession via Lasbela, right towards Garden Jamaat Khana, Soldier Bazaar No 3 signal, and then proceed to Numaish. Those coming from Liaquatabad would take the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Teen<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Hatti and Jahangir Road route to reach Numaish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Participants from Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal would take the University Road, Old Sabzi Mandi, Kashmir Road, from Society Light Signal to join the procession.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the Karachi Traffic Police press release, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Vehicles carrying the distribution of Sabeel or Niaz would only join the procession from the Tower\/Memon Masjid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">No one would be allowed to park their vehicles on the procession route, the police statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: Karachi Traffic Police has issued the traffic plan for Muharram 8, 9, and 10 which fall on July 15, 16, and 17 (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) to facilitate the smooth movement of the Ashura processions.
