Downpour brought much-needed relief for the citizens amid the scorching heat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lahore-weather-forecast-pmd-predicts-more-monsoon-rains-in-next-three-days\/\">monsoon rainfall system<\/a> will be activated from today and monsoon will be continue until July 21.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/met-office-forecasts-monsson-rain-across-pakistan-this-week\/\">Met Office<\/a>, rain along with wind and thundershowers<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> are expected in Punjab&#8217;s provincial capital of Lahore Islamabad\/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Tala Gang, Jhelum, and other areas of Punjab<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> from july 17 to 20 with occasional gaps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Met Office said that rain is likely in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday along with expected rain showers in some places of eastern Balochistan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-473dfed elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-content\" data-id=\"473dfed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-content.default\">\n<p>It has rained with thunder in the Samahni area of \u200b\u200bAzad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and its surroundings, heavy rain has continued for several hours in Koh-e-Sulaiman, Shirani, and Danasar.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"QpPSMb\">\n<div class=\"DoxwDb\">\n<div class=\"PZPZlf ssJ7i xgAzOe\" role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" data-attrid=\"title\">National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) issued urban flooding and flash flooding alerts in Lahore, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Islamabad, KP, and central and northeastern Punjab from July 17 to 21 as Monsoon rains and thundershowers with occasional gaps forecast in these regions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Rain along with cool breeze in Lahore and its adjacent areas on Thursday morning turned the weather pleasant.
