Furthermore, the Met Office forecasts thunderstorms on Saturday and light rain or drizzle on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>As per the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD),\u00a0Karachi&#8217;s maximum temperature reached 39\u00b0C with a humidity level of 79%, making the heat index feel like 47\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ads_between_content\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1523347432315-11\" class=\"story_ads\" data-google-query-id=\"CJrzx_Cts4cDFViqgwcdDqY5Kg\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Two days earlier, the mercury in the metropolitan reached a sweltering 40.5\u00b0C and the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/islamabad-weather-forecast-monsoon-rains-likely-in-islamabad-humid-weather-to-continue\/\">feels-like temperature<\/a> reached 52\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-473dfed elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-content\" data-id=\"473dfed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-content.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<div class=\"QpPSMb\">\n<div class=\"DoxwDb\">\n<div class=\"PZPZlf ssJ7i xgAzOe\" role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" data-attrid=\"title\">National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) issued urban flooding and flash flooding alerts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Islamabad, KP, and central and northeastern Punjab from July 17 to 21 as Monsoon rains and thundershowers with occasional gaps forecast in these regions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI:\u00a0Karachiites finally received a much-needed downpour on Friday afternoon after an extremely hot and humid day resulting in two deaths due to heatstroke.
