This results in a total of 31 hours of gas load-shedding, as SSGC halts the gas supply daily from 10 pm.<\/p>\n<p>According to a spokesperson from<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/german-embassy-in-karachi-resumes-issuing-visas-to-pakistanis-details-inside\/\"> Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC)<\/a>, the shutdown affects both domestic and industrial consumers due to transmission pipeline work.<\/p>\n<p>The areas impacted include Surjani Town, Manghopir, Qasba Town, Orangi, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, FB Area, Gulberg, Buffer Zone, Site Industrial Area, Baldia, Ittehad Town, Kemari, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Ahsanabad, Janjal Goth, and the Super Highway vicinity.<\/p>\n<p>The gas supply was cut off from 5 am on July 28 and will remain suspended until 5 am on July 29 (Monday).<\/p>\n<p>In related news, Mari Petroleum Company recently made a significant discovery of new gas reserves from five wells in Sindh.<\/p>\n<p>The company has completed the testing, production, and transmission of an additional 3 million metric standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas. This achievement was disclosed following the submission of detailed reports to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Mari Petroleum has announced that natural gas from the Ghazij Gas Field is now being supplied to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, it is important to note that a 24-inch Sui gas pipeline in Mach was recently sabotaged, resulting in a significant gas supply disruption, including in Quetta.
