ISLAMABAD: The Federal Directorate of Education<\/a> (FDE) has announced new timings for schools in the federal capital with effect from August 5.<\/p>\n

According to the notification, the new school timings<\/a> will take effect after the educational institutions will reopen after the summer vacations.<\/p>\n

As per the details, the institutions with morning shifts will open from 7:30 am to 01:30 pm on Monday to Thursday. For Friday, educational institutes will close at 12:30 pm.<\/p>\n

For the evening shift, schools and colleges will start at 2 pm and end at 7 pm on Monday and Thursday. Meanwhile, schools on Friday will start at 2:30 pm.<\/p>\n

Earlier, due to the ongoing heat wave in the country, the\u00a0Federal Ministry of Education extended the summer vacation for schools and colleges in Islamabad until August 4.<\/p>\n
