Many people have been bypassing the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-updates-family-registration-fees-in-pakistan-details-inside\/\"> CDA\u2019s multiple NOC requirements<\/a> by using the registrar\u2019s office for property transfers.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, properties with conveyance or lease deeds could only be transferred via sale deeds at the Joint Sub Registrar\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>However, in 2022, the CDA revised its property manual to allow additional transfers through its one-window facility, as long as the original sale deeds were surrendered.<\/p>\n<p>The FBR had prohibited property sales through the registrar\u2019s office, a decision that was challenged in the Islamabad High Court.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After a more considered approach, the FBR retracted its letter restricting sale deeds through the registrar\u2019s office. As a result, the CDA will also withdraw the amendment to its property manual, which was no longer necessary,&#8221; an official said.<\/p>\n<p>The Capital Development Authority (CDA) intends to stop further transfers of urban properties processed through sale deeds at the registrar\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the CDA&#8217;s requirement for multiple NOCs, many people have opted to use the registrar\u2019s office for property transfers instead.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the new rules will cover all transactions conducted between October 28, 2022, and July 31, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to stop further transfers of urban properties processed through sale deeds at the registrar\u2019s office.
