Gen. Ahmed Sharif said that accountability within the army is strict, strict, transparent, adding that it is an automatic process that goes on all the time.<\/p>\n<p>Military spokesperson has previously provided an explanation of the military&#8217;s accountability process, which was detailed during a May 7 press conference. He said that there is no discrimination in the process of accountability.<\/p>\n<p>He also noted that high positions come with great responsibility and the process of accountability for them is strict.<\/p>\n<p>DG ISPR asserted that they are proud of their accountability system which is based on facts rather than allegations.<\/p>\n<p>This statement came after former ISI chief Lt Gen Retired<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/why-is-ex-dg-isi-lt-general-faiz-hameed-being-court-martialed\/\"> Faiz Hameed<\/a> was taken into military custody in the Top City case and the Field General Court-Mortal proceedings were initiated against him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Pakistan Army has initiated a detailed Court of Inquiry to investigate the top city case against Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed (Retd.),&#8221; read an official ISPR statement. I can ascertain the validity of the complaints.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, appropriate disciplinary action has been initiated against him under the provisions of the Pakistan Army Act.<\/p>\n<p>The media wing of the army said that apart from this, several incidents of violation of the Pakistan Army Act have also come to light after retirement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt.
