{"id":44805,"date":"2024-08-13T12:26:12","date_gmt":"2024-08-13T07:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=44805"},"modified":"2024-08-13T12:26:12","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T07:26:12","slug":"federal-govt-splits-pcaa-into-three-entities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/federal-govt-splits-pcaa-into-three-entities\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal govt splits PCAA into three entities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-area\" data-io-article-url=\"https:\/\/www.geo.tv\/latest\/558953-govt-splits-pcaa-into-three-bodies\">\n<p>KARACHI: The federal governemnt has notified the division of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/aviation-ministry-initiates-investigation-against-corruption-in-caa\/\">Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority<\/a> (PCAA) into three departments \u2014 PCAA, Bureau of Aircraft Safety Investigation (BASI), and Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>As per details, Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) will look after all the commercial airports, while BASI will investigate aircraft accidents. Meanwhile, all the regulatory departments will be part of the PCAA which includes flight standard, pilot licensing, aerodrome airspace, airworthiness, air transport and aeromedical.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Aviation issued separate notification, dated August 9, 2024, regarding the establishment of the PAA and BASI.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"story-detail\">\n<p>Furthermore, the government stated that the employees have been transferred to the relevant departments as per their experience and expertise.
