{"id":45531,"date":"2024-08-19T18:11:39","date_gmt":"2024-08-19T13:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=45531"},"modified":"2024-08-19T18:11:39","modified_gmt":"2024-08-19T13:11:39","slug":"seven-diamer-bhasha-dam-labourers-killed-as-vehicle-plunges-into-ravine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/seven-diamer-bhasha-dam-labourers-killed-as-vehicle-plunges-into-ravine\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven Diamer-Bhasha Dam labourers killed as vehicle plunges into ravine"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"story__content  overflow-hidden      text-4 leading-tight text-black  \" dir=\"auto\">\n<p>CHILAS: At least seven labourers working at the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/atleast-20-killed-21-injured-as-bus-falls-into-ravine-in-diamer\/\">Diamer-Bhasha Dam<\/a> were killed and one got injured when their vehicle fell into a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/four-dead-as-bus-falls-into-ravine-in-mardan-kp\/\">deep ravine<\/a> on Karakoran Highway in Chilas on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, workers were traveling in a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/eight-killed-seven-injured-in-bus-trailer-collision-in-ghotki\/\">Mazda vehicle<\/a> when it lost control and fell into a ravine.<\/p>\n<p>Following the accident, GB Police, and rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the deceased and injured to the nearby hospital. &#8220;Five workers died on the spot while three others were injured. Later, two of them succumbed to their injuries,&#8221; Diamer Rescue 1122 official said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the hospital officials, the deceased has been identified as Yousuf, Ehsanullah, Muhibullah, Sajjad, Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) employee Sajjad, and Mujeebullah. Meanwhile, the injured has been identified as Abdullah.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on Sunday, a bus plunged into a ditch near the Sangao area of \u200b\u200bMardan, killing four people and injuring nine others.<\/p>\n<p>According to rescue sources, the bus was going from\u00a0Buner to Katlang when it fell into a ditch, as a result of which two people died on the spot.
