Now, <em>Filmfare <\/em>reports emerged that the makers have also roped in &#8216;Mom&#8217; actress Sajal Aly to essay a pivotal role. The s<span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">hooting of the pre-independence fictional backdrop movie will begin on August 24 in Hyderabad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, filmmakers have yet to confirm the development regarding Sajal&#8217;s Bollywood comeback after nearly seven years.<\/p>\n<p>Fauji is said to be a period-action drama, set in the 1940s, with the storyline about a warrior who rose from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world.<\/p>\n<p>Director Hanu Raghavapudi has stated that the film will offer a one-of-a-kind love story set amidst historical events.
