{"id":46011,"date":"2024-08-23T22:15:47","date_gmt":"2024-08-23T17:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=46011"},"modified":"2024-08-23T22:15:47","modified_gmt":"2024-08-23T17:15:47","slug":"massive-corruption-unveiled-in-cda-other-govt-depts-details-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/massive-corruption-unveiled-in-cda-other-govt-depts-details-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive corruption unveiled in CDA &#038; other govt depts: Details inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/fawad-ch-responds-to-critics-of-govts-anti-corruption-campaign\/\">Anti-Corruption Circle<\/a> has completed its investigation against 14 government employees, revealing assets beyond their declared income, here on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, assets held in the name of these government officials and their families have been confiscated.<\/p>\n<p>The cases have now been forwarded to the Anti-Money Laundering Cell, where charges under the Anti-Money Laundering Act will be filed against the officers involved.<\/p>\n<p>Among the accused are ETO Hilal Ahmed and former Member State<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ihc-nullifies-cdas-power-to-convert-green-belts-into-plots\/\"> CDA<\/a> Afnan Alam besides Ahmar Ali Qureshi, Parvez Akhtar, Farast Ali and Safdar Mahmood. Additionally, Kaleem Akhtar and Mohammad Iftikhar are facing anti-corruption charges.<\/p>\n<p>The accused are accused of being involved in selling government land, allotting numbers to non-customs vehicles and violating development projects.<\/p>\n<p>It is said that these activities caused a loss of crores of rupees to the national exchequer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Corruption Circle has completed its investigation against 14 government employees, revealing assets beyond their declared income, here on Friday.
