{"id":46014,"date":"2024-08-23T23:03:54","date_gmt":"2024-08-23T18:03:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=46014"},"modified":"2024-08-23T23:03:54","modified_gmt":"2024-08-23T18:03:54","slug":"imran-khan-seeks-exercise-dumbbells-in-adiala-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/imran-khan-seeks-exercise-dumbbells-in-adiala-jail\/","title":{"rendered":"Imran Khan seeks exercise dumbbells in Adiala Jail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister (PM) <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/six-more-adiala-jail-staff-members-arrested-for-facilitating-imran-khan\/\">Imran Khan<\/a> has made two requests during the hearing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/i-was-eyewitness-in-all-transactions-linked-to-al-qadir-trust-case-azam-khan-tells-nab\/\">Al-Qadir University<\/a> 190 million pounds reference case in the court.<\/p>\n<p>His lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry submitted the requests, which included providing a pair of dumbbells for exercise in the jail and obtaining the necessary signed letter for bank statements.<\/p>\n<p>Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, asked for dumbbells to maintain his exercise routine. The second request was for permission to sign a letter requiring access to his bank statements.<\/p>\n<p>The court directed the jail authorities to deal with both the petitions as per the jail manual.<\/p>\n<p>However, jail officials rejected the requests, saying that providing dumbbells for exercise was a violation of jail manuals.
