{"id":46055,"date":"2024-08-24T13:08:20","date_gmt":"2024-08-24T08:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=46055"},"modified":"2024-08-24T13:09:24","modified_gmt":"2024-08-24T08:09:24","slug":"2-children-killed-policemen-among-14-injured-in-pishin-blast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/2-children-killed-policemen-among-14-injured-in-pishin-blast\/","title":{"rendered":"2 children killed, policemen among 14 injured in Pishin blast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PISHIN: At least two children were killed while two policemen were among 14\u00a0injured when an <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/blast-injures-five-including-two-policemen-in-peshawar\/\">explosion<\/a> occurred\u00a0near Surkhab Chowk in Balochistan\u2019s Pishin district, a police official said.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pishin City Station House Officer (SHO) Mujibur Rehman confirmed the casualties<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, adding that <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the injured people were taken<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to the Pishin Civil Hospital<\/span> with some of them in critical condition including policemen.<\/p>\n<p>Medical superintendent of Pishin Hospital, Dr. Wakeel Sherani, said 13 wounded were moved to the<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Civil Hospital <\/span>Quetta&#8217;s Trauma Centre after <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">being provided with first aid<\/span> while the bodies of the children and one of the injured are in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>As per initial police reports, the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle, and a blast resulted in damaging three vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Upon the information, t<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">he Counter-Terrorism Department and the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the incident site and initiated an investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PISHIN: At least two children were killed while two policemen were among 14\u00a0injured when an explosion occurred\u00a0near Surkhab Chowk in Balochistan\u2019s Pishin district, a police official said.
