{"id":4609,"date":"2021-12-08T12:08:29","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T12:08:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=4609"},"modified":"2021-12-08T12:08:29","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T12:08:29","slug":"capt-safdar-to-play-vote-ko-izzat-do-at-son-junaids-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/capt-safdar-to-play-vote-ko-izzat-do-at-son-junaids-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Capt Safdar to play &#8216;vote ko izzat do&#8217; at son Junaid&#8217;s wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Captain (retd) Safdar Awan, who is PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz&#8217;s husband, has vowed to dance at his son Junaid Safdar&#8217;s wedding function.<\/p>\n<p>His announcement came after a video of Maryam singing at a wedding function of son Junaid Safdar did the rounds on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Talking to journalists, Captain (retd) Safdar said that singing at marriage functions was their tradition, adding that &#8216;Desan Da Raja&#8217; was sung during the wedding functions in the past.<\/p>\n<p>He wondered why people were criticising Maryam for singing on an occasion which was special for her. \u201cI will sing and whatever dance I had learned, I will perform at Junaid\u2019s wedding,\u201d he vowed.<\/p>\n<p>The PML-N leader said that the song &#8216;Vote ko Izzat Do&#8217; would also be played at his son\u2019s wedding.
