The assailants escaped the location, leaving behind the lifeless body of the journalist.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, Ghuniyo was in a field near his home when the assailants opened fire, killing him instantly. Later his body was transported to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/balochistan-govt-to-operate-hospitals-through-public-private-partnerships\/\">Ubaro Tehsil Hospital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists gathered at the Ubaro Tehsil Hospital following the incident. Ghuniyo was known for reporting on criminal activities in the area.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the killing, with preliminary indications suggesting a possible connection to an old dispute.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, this incident bears an eerie resemblance to the recent murder of another journalist, Nasrullah Gadani, who was also shot dead in Ghotki.<\/p>\n<p>Gadani succumbed to his injuries in May after being attacked by unidentified armed men near Mirpur Mathelo.
