RAWALPINDI: Bangladesh after winning the toss sent Pakistan in to bat in the second Test on Saturday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium after the first day\u2019s washout<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

Pakistan <\/span>has<\/span> only four days to square the two-match series after they lost the first Test, also in Rawalpindi, by 10 wickets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bangladesh, whose win was their first in 14 Tests against Pakistan, brought in fast bowler Taskin Ahmed for unfit Shoriful Islam. Pakistan rested new-ball bowlers,\u00a0<\/span>Shaheen<\/span> Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah, bringing in fast bowler Mir Hamza and spinner Abrar Ahmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two-match series is part of the World Test Championship\u2019s third cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rain was a bad omen for <\/span>the Pakistan<\/span> team after Bangladesh won the first Test, also in Rawalpindi, last Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Shan Masood-led team with an all-pace bowling attack suffered a stunning loss on the final day of the first Test and now faces a must-win task in the second Test.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bangladesh on the other hand is looking to record a historic first Test series victory over Pakistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jason Gillespie, Pakistan\u2019s red ball coach, has said the bowlers would need to embrace a\u00a0ruthless approach\u00a0in the final Test.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur [over] rates were very poor in [the] first Test and that is unacceptable, as simple as that,\u201d Gillespie said adding that the bowlers will play this match with a new approach in order to make an all-out effort to take 20 wickets.<\/span><\/p>\n
