The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/bise-punjab-hssc-part-ii-results-2024-to-be-announced-on-september-4\/\">Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)<\/a> is driving the project&#8217;s software development, which will assist in a new era of efficiency and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>A state-of-the-art control room and e-tag system at the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sindh-govt-plans-to-construct-expressway-from-karachi-port-to-jam-sadiq-bridge\/\">Pirwadhai Bus Terminal<\/a> will serve as the nerve(main) center, harnessing real-time data on vehicle registration, ownership, and fitness certificates, as well as driver information and route details.<\/p>\n<p>This cutting-edge system, inspired by global models in Paris, London, and the US, will ensure only compliant vehicles exit the terminal, enhancing safety and service standards.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the digital platform will also empower citizens to lodge online complaints about public and government transport services, promoting transparency and improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Rashid Ali, Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), hailed the initiative as a significant achievement, paving the way for potential expansion to other Punjab cities if successful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi is all set to revolutionize its public transportation with the launch of Pakistan&#8217;s inaugural fully digital transport system.
