{"id":47837,"date":"2024-09-08T23:54:34","date_gmt":"2024-09-08T18:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=47837"},"modified":"2024-09-08T23:54:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-08T18:54:34","slug":"audit-report-exposes-illegal-appointments-at-aiou-details-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/audit-report-exposes-illegal-appointments-at-aiou-details-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Audit report exposes illegal appointments at AIOU: Details inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: An audit report has revealed that 99 employees were posted illegally in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/news\/allama-iqbal-open-university-announces-exam-schedule\/\">Allama Iqbal Open University<\/a> (AIOU) during 2022-23.<\/p>\n<p>According to the results, the authorities ignored provincial and regional quotas.<\/p>\n<p>The report said the appointments were made without following necessary procedures, including a public advertisement, which is mandatory as per the guidelines of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/federal-govt-appoints-shehryar-sultan-as-nha-chairman\/\">Establishment Division<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Further, the test-based merit lists were not shown to the auditors and the test papers of the candidates were not provided for review.<\/p>\n<p>The report further highlighted that the basic eligibility criteria were not followed before conducting the screening test and the appointments were not made on the recommendations of the selection board.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, appointments specifically to Grade 19 to Grade 9 posts have been declared illegal.
